ABOUT THIS RESOURCE

San Jose Crash Data Sources and Methods

Local crash findings need a stated source, time period, geography, and method before they are published.

Sources and time periods in San Jose crash research

This resource does not yet publish an original San Jose crash ranking, a new dataset, or a completed camera study. Official sources are linked for readers who want the current agency information. No competitor’s proprietary danger score has been copied.

How we handle missing data and map uncertainty

A future study must document its raw snapshot, date window, coordinate handling, duplicate records, missingness, and definitions. Counts, killed-or-severely-injured records, and exposure-adjusted risk will be labeled separately. Corrections will identify what changed and why.
